Sherlock Lady
By stroke of fortune
He happens on her
Dimmed hope brightens
Of a brighter future with a sound better-half
They throw themselves into gyration
Result of centripetal and centrifugal forces
The moon and the space
Become a stone's throw
The sherlock lady at play
Deep to the brim with each other
She asks,"Would you marry me?"
Love,they say,is blind
He retorts,"Yes,I would marry you!"
Communication goes round the bride family
Wedding preparations close at hand
Though the would-be couple lives in another culture
But the African culture must be respected
Lists of things to be bought are brought
In the region of six-figures they appear
The groom is dumbfounded and perplexed
But the bride stands her ground
African culture must be respected
Brightened hope dims
Vapourized into the thin air the groom
A tale of a sherlock lady!
