| | Travels | | Travelling,they say,is part of education.This informs the reason why the whole world is more or less a global village.People,the world over,have travelled from each to the other part of the world.In countries around the world,people from different ethnic groups and origins are seen living and going about their daily activities in them.This shows how travelling has brought together people from around the world. | | | | When we are young,our parents do not allow us to travel far away from them.They always want to see us,embrace and cuddle us.In some households,kids are forbidden by their parents to travel to see friends and family friends who live far away from them-that is,at a distance location.This is an attitude of love by parents towards their children.In other words,it is not done out of hatred but of love | | | | As we grow up,we discover that we have to live independent of our parents.We start to take giant steps towards travelling.We wrestle ourselves from the grips of their love.We start to do things the way we perceive them to be right.We do not give a damn to their concerns. | | | | Now,coming to look at it,we would see that we have done the right thing.Travelling helps us to be socially integrated into the world's societies.Of late,we have heard people calling for diversity in all spheres of our lives.This call is motivated by experience.People that have travelled to society where diversity is well expressed now clamour for it in all spheres of the world's societies | | | For instance,in Ireland,the Irish people who have travelled to places like U.S. and U.K.and resident there for many years came back to Ireland preaching the gospel of unity in diversity,but to the local Irish people,it is a painful pill to swallow.They want to continue to lead the old,conservative way of life that had long been handed down to them many years ago.
Recently,I happened on a young man who has all his life been living in his country.He has not stepped out of his country for once.As one travels around the world,one meets different people and as well learns from their cultural values and becomes socially integrated in the global community. | | | | In conclusion,travelling helps you learn a lot from other people cultures and makes you to be socially integrated into the global community. |
